With crystal clear waters and an interesting landscape of unusually shaped rocks, Ftelia beach is a scenic spot located on Panormos Bay. The ever-present wind makes Ftelia beach a popular windsurfing destination. There is a restaurant and some accommodation options.
Ftelia is also culturally and historically significant due to the discovery of a Neolithic settlement, including what is widely believed to be the tomb of the historic Iliad hero Ajax the Locrian.
Ftelia is one of the quieter beaches on Mykonos, and can only be reached by road. Mykonos Transportation can take you, and your windsurfing equipment to Ftelia beach.
