With crystal clear waters and an interesting landscape of unusually shaped rocks, Ftelia beach is a scenic spot located on Panormos Bay. The ever-present wind makes Ftelia beach a popular windsurfing destination. There is a restaurant and some accommodation options.

Ftelia is also culturally and historically significant due to the discovery of a Neolithic settlement, including what is widely believed to be the tomb of the historic Iliad hero Ajax the Locrian.
